🌍On September 2, 2023, the festival of embassies was held in The Hague, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, where representatives of Georgia, along with 52 countries, took part.
🇬🇪 The festival presented a variety of Georgian culture - including wines of different denominations, traditional dishes, samples of folk crafts, jewelry and handicrafts. The visitors had the opportunity to get information about cultural values and tourism potential of Georgia.
🍷Traditionally, the longest queue of Dutch and foreign tourists stood at the Georgian pavilion. In addition to the visitors, many guests visited the Georgian stand. Among them was the Mayor of The Hague, Jan van Zaanen, who was guided by Ambassador of Georgia Davit Solomonia. The mayor thanked the Georgian participants for creating a special atmosphere and for their contribution to enriching the cultural landscape of the festival. He noted that The Hague, as a city of peace and justice, pays special attention to cultural events and expressed hope that the traditional activity of Georgia will continue at future festivals.
In the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a festival where Georgian diaspora organizations, together with the embassy, introduce the guests to the traditions of their country, is held every year in September.
