An evening of Georgian polyphony in the Kingdom of The Hague

As part of the EUROPALIA festival, on October 28, 2023, an evening of Georgian polyphony was held in the Amare - Den Haag hall of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.

The State Chamber Choir of Georgia, the Gori Women's Chamber Choir and the ensemble "Basiani" performed in front of the gathered audience.

The concert program was preceded by presentations organized with the participation of representatives of the Georgian diaspora in the Netherlands, during which numerous guests got acquainted with traditional engraving works related to the history of Georgia, samples of literature in the Dutch language, Georgian folk crafts, handicrafts made in Georgia, famous wines and various dishes of Georgian cuisine.

  Georgian wine tasting was organized during the intermissions of the concert.
